Barbara Phillips

Hi, my name is Barbara “Bobbie” Phillips. I am 39 years old. I was born and raised in L. A. I am the mother of four beautiful children. I was employed as a LVN I absolutely love nursing. I like to learn new things. I love a variety of music. I really like outside activities and I like being around creative, sincere, and genuine people.

My current circumstance is pretty complicated, This is my first time ever being convicted of anything. Yet, without any witnesses and any physical evidence and with just an altered statement, I was convicted of Felony Murder and sentenced to Life without parole. Here I sit – fighting for my freedom!

Someone once told me; “Bloom where you’re planted”.   As crazy as it can be around here, I try to keep busy with work (optical), spiritual studies, and inmate activities. These things all help with recidivism. I work overtime to maintain a bond with my children too.
